CommunitySignUp is software for the people who already run the Saturday: PTAs, congregations, neighborhood associations, coaches, pantry coordinators, and classroom parents. One public link replaces the group-chat roster that always falls apart.

An organizer publishes a sheet. Neighbors claim a slot. Confirmations and reminders go out by email. The page stays readable on a phone. Participants do not need an account just to take a spot.

What you can build

• Four layouts. Date and time shifts, openings grouped by role, a simple list of slots, or a single-date RSVP.
• A draft wizard. Title, photos, address, questions, reminders, groups, and individual invites — then a preview of the live page before you publish.
• People and groups. Save contacts, import CSV or Excel, and email a whole group when the sheet goes live.
• Waitlists and lock dates. Fill every opening, then queue late joiners instead of turning them away with no path.
• Share tools. A clean URL, QR code, embed, Google and Outlook calendar links, and an option to keep the sheet off public lists.
• Reports. Who filled what, volunteer hours, and whether reminder email was opened or clicked.

How a typical event works

1. You name the event and pick the layout that matches the work.
2. You decide what to collect. Name is always required. Email and phone can be required or optional. You can hide names on the public page.
3. You share one link in a newsletter, a flyer, or a text. Late joiners still see what is open.
4. People claim a slot, get a confirmation, and can change their spot from a private manage link. You keep a roster you can trust.

Places and languages

Public discovery pages exist for U.S. counties, incorporated cities and towns, and ZIP codes so neighbors can find sheets near them. Organizers can keep an event private: the link still works, but it stays off related lists, county pages, and the sitemap.

The public site is offered in multiple languages. Event copy, how-to pages, and place pages can be translated and stored so the same English source is not translated twice unless it changes.

Plans

Every feature is on from the first sheet. Free accounts can publish five sheets forever. Plus is $10 a month or $100 a year (two months free) for unlimited sheets. Complimentary accounts for operators and some SSO organizations stay unlimited at no charge.

What we will not do

• We do not sell ads on your event page.
• We do not sell participant lists or use them to train public AI models.
• We do not require an account just to take a slot.

Who operates this site

This hosted copy runs at communitysignup.com. Questions about a specific event belong with the person who published the sheet. Questions about the product can go through Help or a signed-in message to the site admins.
